PEOPLE in work are being encouraged to find out what benefits they could be entitled to.
Paul McLennan, East Lothian’s MSP, is reminding residents that they could qualify for benefits from Social Security Scotland even if they are in full-time or part-time employment.
The politician said: “This is a time where there are lots of people starting new jobs or returning to work for the first time in a while.
“Benefit payments are not just for those out of work.
“People in work can receive many of the payments administered by Social Security Scotland, including those designed to help low-income families.”
