PEOPLE living in rural villages are being given the chance to ask questions of community police officers.

Humbie, Gifford, Innerwick and Aberlady will all be visited by officers today (Thursday).

Officers will be at Humbie Primary School for an hour from 10am and then stop off at The Square in Gifford from 11.15am.

Police will next stop off for an hour at Innerwick Village Hall from 1pm before completing their tour at School Road/Luffness Court in Aberlady for an hour from 2.45pm.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Please pop along to meet your local officers, who will be happy to answer any questions and discuss policing within your community.”
