A HELICOPTER was called out to rescue a man who fell from rocks on East Lothian’s coastline.
Coastguard teams from Dunbar and North Berwick were both called out after the man fell about 10 metres at St Baldred’s Cradle, near Tyninghame.
The alarm was raised at about 1.05pm on Saturday and the Scottish Ambulance Service was also alerted.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard told the Courier: “The Coastguard Rescue Teams helped extract the casualty and passed him into the care of an air ambulance.”
No details were given to the extent of the man’s injuries.
