A bid has been launched to install a private garage in a garden on a Cockenzie and Port Seton street.
John Archibald has made the application to build the garage to the rear of his property on Edinburgh Road.
The proposed garage would back onto the parallel Hawthorn Terrace and be situated within the property’s rear garden, sitting about four metres tall.
It would be constructed of stone and brick, with a timber door and flat roof, on the site of a gravel driveway that is currently in use.
A sandstone wall to the west of the boundary would also be extended and a new metal gate installed for pedestrian entrance to the property.
The garage would also have a side entrance door.
A determination deadline has been set for January 28.
