Preston Lodge High School put on a spread as they hosted local senior citizens for its annual afternoon tea event.
Pupils and staff entertained with music as the festive VIP also made an appearance.
A Preston Lodge High School spokesperson said: "Our Senior Citizen’s Christmas Party is a highlight of the school year.
"Staff and students put on an amazing spread of food, with musical accompaniment, and Santa even joins in the fun!
"Thank you to the members of our community who joined us this year from the following organisations: Harlawhill Day Centre, John Bellany Day Centre, Johnny Moat Housing Complex, Pennypit Lunch Club, Cockenzie Parish Church, Longniddry Parish Church, Preston Grange Church, Chalmers Church.
"On top of all that, some further groups and individuals attend, and we had a great time celebrating Christmas together."
