A WOMAN found dead in a North Berwick home on New Year’s Day was originally from Botswana.
Police were called to the property on Craigleith Avenue following “a report of concern”.
Naso Isaacs, 33, of Botswana but who had been living in Scotland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police, ambulance and other emergency services were in attendance at the North Berwick property.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Courier: “Around 8.20am on Monday, January 1, police were called to a property in Craigleith Avenue, North Berwick, following a report of concern.
“Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and enquiries are continuing.”
