THE final Haddington Farmers’ Market of 2023 takes place on Saturday.
Traditionally, the farmers’ market, which dates back more than 20 years, takes place on the final Saturday of the month.
With Christmas Day fast approaching, stallholders will line Court Street from 9am to 1pm.
On the menu will be a range of ingredients for starters, mains and desserts, from smoked salmon and homemade pâté to beef, ham, chipolatas, sausage meat, streaky bacon, ice cream, cakes, home baking, tarts and Christmas cakes.
Festive drinks including non-alcoholic mixers from Gullane Glögg, apple juice, liqueurs, beer, gin and coffee will be on offer, alongside gift ideas ranging from jam, cakes, locally designed cards, mugs and tea towels, to natural soaps and skin products.
Haddington Pipe Band will also be on hand to provide entertainment, alongside Haddington Primary School and The Compass School.
