Rain is expected across the county tomorrow with a yellow weather warning set to be in place.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain from 9am tomorrow until 3am on Wednesday.
The warning reads: “An area of rain arriving from the west early on Tuesday is expected to become slow-moving and persistent across this region, most likely eventually clearing southeast in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
“Much of the warning area is expected to see 15-30mm of rainfall during this time, and in some places, particularly east facing areas of higher ground, 50-75mm is possible, which could lead to some flooding.”
Road users are being advised to plan journeys ahead of time to avoid dangers and delays.
It has been warned that some flooding may be possible with a flood alert having also been issued by SEPA across the county.
The warning reads: "Heavy showers or longer spells of rain on Tuesday through into early on Wednesday, could lead to localised flooding from rivers and surface water.
"The highest risk is in eastern areas. Any impacts are most likely to include localised flooding to low-lying land and roads but localised property flooding is also possible."
