Longniddry's Christmas lights switch-on has been hailed a great success by the local community.
About 300 people turned out for the event on Friday as revellers enjoyed carol singing and a lantern parade along with a Santa's Grotto and craft stalls.
Marilyn Young, secretary for Longniddry Community Council, told the Courier that the event was a "big success" and added her thanks to all those who turned out to support the event.
She also gave her praise to everyone that organised the event, once again adding her gratitude to everyone involved.
