TWO Musselburgh men have been ordered to pay a fine after they breached a court order.
Kevin Yip appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on August 2 and was told not to have any contact with David Ritchie or Gary Watters as part of his bail conditions.
But the 44-year-old broke the court instructions by failing to comply, approaching and contacting Watters at Musselburgh High Street on October 30.
Yip, of North High Street, appeared back at the city court last week, where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Sheriff Kenneth Campbell KC sentenced Yip to pay a fine of £100 to mark the offence.
In a separate court appearance on the same day, Watters, also of North High Street, pleaded guilty of breaching his bail conditions by having contact with Yip.
Watters had been granted bail on March 2 and ordered not to have any contact with Mr Ritchie or Yip.
But he also breached the court rules by failing to comply by contacting Yip at Musselburgh High Street on October 30.
Sheriff Campbell fined 43-year-old Watters £110.
