A public exhibition is to take place in Cockenzie and Port Seton tomorrow (Thursday, November 9) on the draft proposals for the Levelling Up works at the former Cockenzie Power Station site and coal store.

The event will detail the proposed works planned for the site that include the removal of the coal store bunds and concrete structures, regrading the coal store and the infilling of the void at the former power station site.

The meeting will take place at the Port Seton Centre from 1pm to 7pm, where members of the public can learn more about the proposals from East Lothian Council officials.

Members of the team will be there to answer questions and the public can provide comments and feedback as part of the consultation process.
