A FOOTPATH in Tranent is closed for a year as work is set to begin on the development of houses in the area.
The footpath at a section of Church Street, from its junction opposite Winton Place to its junction with Elder Court, is closed from today until October 22, 2024.
The closure is to facilitate building works which will see 28 homes built at the site of the former Fa’side Lodge care home, which was demolished in 2016 after closing in 2014.
