Archerfield Walled Garden has been forced to close its outdoor Fairy Trail walk today and tomorrow and cancel its planned pumpkin hunt due to bad weather conditions.
As Storm Babet continues to hit the county, some businesses have made the decision to close their doors temporarily due to the weather. The Seabird Centre in North Berwick announced yesterday that it would be closed today as a result of the storm.

The Fairy Trail at Archerfield is an outdoor woodland walk through the grounds of the estate which often attracts many visitors. An outdoor pumpkin hunt has been running at the estate from October 16 and will continue until Halloween (October 31).
Due to the bad weather, the estate has decided to close the path today and tomorrow and cancel the pumpkin hunt until the path is open again.
A sign outside the trail reads: "For your safety we have made the decision to close the Fairy Trail today. Apologies for any inconvenience."
An Archerfield Walled Garden spokesperson said: “Due to the current weather situation the Fairy Trail will remain closed today and tomorrow.
"Unfortunately, this means our Pumpkin Hunt won’t be accessible, however, we hope to reopen the trail on Sunday following an assessment in the morning.”
