MORE than 30 scarecrows are attracting visitors to Dirleton.
The village’s annual scarecrow trail, this year featuring more than 30 impressive creations, is currently on display.
All of the scarecrows will be on show until October 22, weather permitting, and trail maps are available from a box on the round bench on the village green.
Prizes for winners and runners up across three categories were handed out at Dirleton's Harvest Festival fundraiser earlier this month.
The winners and runners up were: The scarecrow that made the judges smile the most: 1. Glen and Innes Anderson – The Gardener; 2. Darcy and Aidan Breckon – Flamin Crow, and Gemma and Rosalie Mitchell-Tebbs – Pink Unicorn.
Best TV, book or film scarecrow: 1. Elise and Esmie Stevenson – Harry Potter; 2. Millie and Flynn Gillies – Room on the Broom, and Emily, Reuben and Joanne Kitto – Barbie Crow.
Best traditional/harvest scarecrow: 1. Diana Murray – Harvest Moon; 2. Emma, Isla and Grace Hornby – Lady Gardener, and Emma and Innes Lamb – The Tractor.
