AN OFFICIAL fireworks display will light up the sky above Haddington for the first time in four years.
Volunteers confirmed the event would return on Saturday, November 4. Lorraine Dickson, who is involved in organising the annual spectacular, was pleased to see it return for the first time since 2019.
She said: “We are quite excited about it.
"Obviously, we are going to need the support of the community.
"It is self-funded and, with everything since the pandemic, costs have just risen dramatically.
"We need to get people to turn up on the night.”
Entry to the display off Whittingehame Drive is by £2 donation; gates will open at 6.30pm.
