A number of council buildings and facilities will be closed from tomorrow until Tuesday as part of a local public holiday.
East Lothian Council has confirmed that a number of buildings including John Muir House, The Brunton and all other area offices, libraries and community centres as well as the registration for births and deaths will be closed over the weekend.
All county schools will also be closed and facilities will reopen on Tuesday.
Dunbar Town House Museum and Gallery, John Muir’s Birthplace and Prestongrange Museum will remain open.
Many medical practices and pharmacies will also be closed on Monday. Patients should check closure times with their local facilities.
Urgent medical advice can still be sought by contacting NHS24 on 111. In the event of a medical emergency, 999 should be called.
All facilities will open again on Tuesday.

Those with social work emergencies during the closure should call 01875 824309.
Housing repair emergencies as well as roads emergencies should be reported on 01875 612818.
The homeless hotline is also available on 0800 169 1611.
