A Tranent father-of-six will be sentenced later this month after he admitted to two offences in Dalkeith.
Richard Kelly, of Muirpark Place, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive manner during an incident at Dalkeith Country Park on May 27 this year.
He also assaulted a woman by pushing her on the body which caused her to fall to the ground at High Street, Dalkeith the following day.
Kelly, 36, also admitted to striking the woman to the head with his head to her injury.
He appeared in the dock in front of Sheriff Ian Anderson at Edinburgh Sheriff last week for sentencing but the case was deferred for a second time to later this month when Kelly has other cases calling.
