A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged following an alleged robbery at a shop in Tranent.
The alleged incident happened at about 4pm on Saturday at a premises on High Street in the town.
The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Wednesday).
Detective Constable Marion Anderson said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries.”
