Macmerry’s recycling centre has been closed today for essential repairs.
The council confirmed the closure was due to repairs to gates and that the facility would open once repairs were complete.
An East Lothian Council spokesperson said: “Macmerry recycling centre is closed this morning (Wednesday 19 July) for essential repairs.
“The other recycling centres are open as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience and will update when Macmerry re-opens.”
