North Berwick Fire Station is hosting an open day this month to encourage more prospective firefighters to join the team.
The event takes place next Saturday (July 15) between 10am and 3pm at the station on Station Court.
The team will be providing demonstrations and drills so that people can have a look at the type of work firefighters do on a daily basis.
A ‘doors open’ style event will also run for the local community to see the work they do which will include stalls, soak a firefighter, a bouncy castle and a raffle. The event is free to attend.
