NEWLY-CROWNED US Open champion Wyndham Clark will tee off at the Genesis Scottish Open next month.
Many of golf’s top stars are heading to East Lothian for the prestigious tournament ahead of The Open, which is being played at Royal Liverpool Golf Club the following week.
Twenty-nine-year-old Clark is the latest name to be confirmed, just a fortnight after he claimed his maiden Major title.
The American is in scintillating form, capping a stellar season with a one-shot victory over four-time Major winner Rory McIlroy at Los Angeles Country Club.
Clark joins an exciting field for the Rolex Series event at the Renaissance Club from July 13-16, which includes eight of the top 10 players in the world.

World number one Scottie Scheffler is joined by McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, who won last year’s Genesis Scottish Open, Matt Fitzpatrick, Max Homa and Jordan Spieth.
Clark will tee it up in Scotland’s national open for the second time, following a tied 16th place finish last season.
The American said: “It’s been a whirlwind few weeks and an amazing season so far, all coming together in LA a few weeks ago.
“I’m looking forward to keeping things going over the summer and getting back to the Renaissance Club for the Genesis Scottish Open will be a big part of that.”
This year's tournament marks the sixth consecutive year that it has been held in East Lothian.

Brandon Stone won at Gullane in 2018 with the tournament having been held each year since then at The Renaissance Club.
The first three years saw Bernd Wiesberger, Aaron Rai and Min Woo Lee crowned winners following play-offs before Schauffele defeated fellow American Kurt Kitayama by one stroke.
The 2023 Genesis Scottish Open field also includes Major winners Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Adam Scott and Justin Thomas, European Ryder Cup stars Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton, Rickie Fowler, who won at Gullane in 2015, PGA TOUR winners Sam Burns, Im Sungjae and Séamus Power and East Lothian’s own Grant Forrest.
The tournament is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR, counting on both the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex and the FedExCup, and boasts Genesis, the luxury automotive brand from South Korea, as title sponsor.
