A TRANENT woman will be sentenced later this month after she admitted shouting derogatory remarks towards police officers.
Adele Thomson, of Kings Road, made the remarks while she was being arrested on a separate matter at Newbigging in Musselburgh last year.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court was also told that Thomson was seen banging her head against the inside of the police van.
Thomson, 22, appeared at court last Thursday, where she admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering derogatory remarks on December 20 last year.
Sheriff O’Carroll deferred sentence for the preparation of reports to June 29.
