Tranent FC have announced the signing of ex-Hibernian defender Jordon Forster as well as the return of ‘The Tranent Pele’ Alan Horne.
Forster was in the Celtic youth system but moved to Hibernian in 2010.
The defender played 79 times for Hibs between 2012 and 2017 helping the side lift the Scottish Championship title in 2016-17.
Forster most recently played with League One side Kelty Hearts, signing in 2021, helping them lift the League Two title.
Tranent FC announced the signing on social media saying: “Tranent FC are delighted to announce the signing of Jordon Forster. The towering defender has a wealth of experience - winning the Championship with Hibernian and League Two with Kelty Hearts, and also a spell with Dundee.”

Forster joins former Tranent star Alan Horne. The full-back left Tranent Juniors in 2013, signing for Bonnyrigg Rose.
Horne has made over 300 appearances for the Midlothian side and is the club’s longest serving player.
Tranent described the defender as ‘The Tranent Pele’ on social media.
They said: “Tranent FC are delighted to announce the signing of Alan Horne. 'The Tranent Pele' spent ten years at Bonnyrigg Rose, helping them achieve promotion to League Two.

Bonnyrigg Rose said on social media: “Everyone at Bonnyrigg wishes Al all the very best as he returns to the Big T.
“The club’s longest serving player with 300+ appearances, multiple league titles and awards.
