A 40-strong cast from Musselburgh Amateur Musical Association (MAMA) presents Made In Dagenham The Musical from Tuesday, May 30, to Saturday, June 3.
Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, the show is based on the real-life 1968 sewing machinists' strike at the Ford factory in Dagenham.
The story is of a group of spirited women who joined forces, took a stand for what was right, and, in doing so, found their own inner strength.
Said to be the first time the show has been performed in East Lothian, it will be staged at Loretto School Theatre, following the temporary closure of parts of the group's usual home, The Brunton, after a survey detected "structural issues" in the theatre's roof.
Most of the cast are from East Lothian and some are from Edinburgh.
The show is at 7.30pm each night and tickets can be purchased from The Brunton.
