A Port Seton motorist has been banned from the road after she was found guilty of being over the drink-drive limit.
Joan Mackenzie, 58, denied being behind the wheel of her vehicle after consuming alcohol and stood trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Following evidence, Mackenzie was found guilty of driving a vehicle with 91mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath at Links Road, Port Seton, on October 10, 2020.
Sheriff John Cook banned Mackenzie from driving for 16 months but allowed her to take part in the drink-drivers’ rehabilitation scheme that could see the ban reduced by a quarter.
Sheriff Cook also fined Mackenzie, of Fishers Road, a total of £640.
