A TEENAGER was arrested in connection with a crash on the outskirts of Tranent on Friday afternoon.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident on Ormiston Road shortly before 5pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4.50pm on Friday, May 5, police were called to a report of a two vehicle road crash on the B6371, near Tranent.
"Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was arrested in connection.
“He was released pending further enquiries.”
