A lobster and his knitted nautical friends have become a popular addition to a North Berwick post box thanks to a dedicated local knitter.
Larry, as the lobster is known, was created by North Berwick's resident knitting maestro Pat Christie who wanted to "make people smile" with her new pot box topper.
Pat has been responsible for a number of pot box toppers across the town, including themed ones for the jubilee, Easter and Christmas.
Larry is located the the post box next to the town's railway station and is joined by some sea-based friends such as a crab, octopus, starfish, whale and even a mermaid.
