A final call has been made for members of the public to nominate a local NHS worker or team for the annual NHS Lothian Celebrating Success Awards.

Nominations for the awards close tonight (Friday) at midnight.

The awards recognise staff who embrace the group’s core values of care and compassion, dignity and respect, quality, teamwork and openness, honesty and responsibility.

All members of the public can nominate an NHS Lothian health worker or team to be their ‘Health Hero’ with the winner being chosen at an annual awards night in the coming months.

Nominations will only be accepted via an online submission of a nomination form or a printed version which can be emailed to celebrating.success@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk

Those submitting a nomination can submit as many as they wish for multiple nominees.

The form should include a brief description of the individual/team’s work and the way in which their contribution is exemplary.
