ALL planned film screenings at The Fraser Centre in Tranent this weekend have been cancelled due to technical issues.
The centre was set to screen Allelujah tonight (Friday) at 7pm and Shazam: Fury of the Gods tomorrow at 2pm.
Issues occurred with yesterday’s screening of Allelujah when the movie appeared to lose connection during the film.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “The issue happened yesterday (Thursday) during our screening of Allelujah when it started to lose connection and we had to stop and start it to get it to work.
“Our audience were lovely and were very patient while we tried to solve the issue.
“We managed to get through the film but it probably took about 20 minutes longer than it should have.
“We’ve cancelled all screenings this weekend while we get someone out to look at it and hopefully we’ll be fixed for next week’s films.”
It is believed a loose cable or short circuit is behind the issue.
Anyone with a pre-booked ticket for screenings this weekend will be contacted by the centre and offered a full refund.
