A new book celebrating the natural history of the Preston Seton Gosford ward has been published.
The book, described as a “local guide to the flora and fauna of a small but diverse corner of East Lothian”, is now available for purchase.
Natural History Guide – Preston Seton & Gosford was written by Bryan Hickman, former Cockenzie and Port Seton Community Council chairman, and contains a foreword from local artist Andrew Crummy.
The author said of the book: “This guide to the flora and fauna of our beautiful corner of East Lothian is an essential accessory for anyone with an interest in our local natural environment – don’t miss out!”
The book has been funded by Salt of the Earth, a lottery-funded group that works in connection with the ward’s local area partnership on projects throughout Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton, and Longniddry.
The group shared its delight on social media that the book was now available.
The book is available for purchase at the 1722 Waggonway Museum in Cockenzie or online via bit.ly/3Gfi58a
