THE Bonnie Badger has retained a top award after being recognised for its top food and drink offerings.
The Gullane business was named as East Lothian Pub & Bar of the Year by the National Pub & Bar Awards 2023.
Chef owner Tom Kitchin was delighted with the success, which comes after scooping the same accolade last year.
Judges highlighted The Bonnie Badger’s commitment to service excellence, design and sustainability, as well as its approach to team training, support and engagement.
Chef Owner Kitchin said: “We’re incredibly lucky to have been able to create a venue in the heart of the enviable East Lothian coastline.
“Since we opened The Bonnie Badger, we’ve built an incredible community that includes our talented team, a collective of outstanding Scottish suppliers and loyal guests from near and far.
"We’ve also made great friends and neighbours from all around East Lothian.
“We are very grateful to the National Pub & Bar Awards for the recognition and congratulate all of the other winners from across the UK who are helping put their own area’s food and drink on the map.”
The National Pub & Bar Awards aim to showcase the UK’s finest pubs and bars on a national scale, celebrating the best venues within 94 counties across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
