AN EVENT to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III is being explored by North Berwick Community Council.
The group was approached by Lyle Crawford, of North Berwick Pipe Band, and Julie Loporto, of The Gospel Choir, who suggested organising a “one-hour concert and dancers”.
Kenny Miller, chair of the community council, put the idea to the group, who voted in favour of exploring the possibility of holding an event at the harbour esplanade on Monday, May 8 – the bank holiday following the King’s coronation on Saturday, May 6.
