A MOTORIST has allegedly tested positive for cannabis after being stopped by police on the A1.
Roads policing officers stopped the motorist near Tranent this morning (Thursday).
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Despite the overwhelming smell of air freshener in the car, officers noted a smell of cannabis.
“The driver provided a positive drugwipe for cannabis and was arrested.
“A blood specimen was obtained for analysis.”
