Tranent Library is inviting children to come along dressed as their favourite book character tomorrow (March 2) to mark World Book Day.
The day celebrates the joy of books and reading and is celebrated all over the world.
Prizes will be given out to any child dressed in costume and some costumes may be featured on the library’s Facebook page.
Tranent Library is open from 10am-7.30pm. The library closes from 1pm-2pm for lunch.
