TWENTY-FIVE producers will line Court Street as Haddington Farmers’ Market returns.
Jam-maker Dodger Jam and chutney producer The Spice Witch are among those returning to the market, which takes place on Saturday.
Stallholders will feature a selection of local and seasonal produce, ranging from food and drink to crafts and gifts.
A spokesperson for the market, which has been running each month for more than 20 years, said: “It’s always best and cheapest to eat fruit and veg when it’s in season and there is plenty to choose from, including beetroot, cabbage, carrots, celeriac, endive, Jerusalem artichokes, kale, leeks, parsnips, salsify, swede, winter radish and winter squash.
"The last of this season’s apples and pears will also be available.
"Phantassie Organics from East Linton will have a great range on their stall.
"There will be hot chocolate and hot apple punch – just the thing for a winter’s day.
"Entertainment will be provided by Haddington Pipe Band.”
The market takes place from 9am to 1pm and there is parking to the rear of John Muir House.
