A well-used road in Port Seton is set to close for five working days as East Lothian Council carry out "carriageway patching work".
Fishergate Road, which connects Port Seton directly to the A198, will be closed for a distance of 755 metres from Monday, February 20 until Friday, February 24.
The road will be closed from the junction with the A198 until the junction with Long Craigs in Port Seton.
A signposted diversion will be in place which will take drivers via the A198 to the Meadowmill Roundabout, turning onto the Coal Road (B6371) and then along Alder Road.
Emergency vehicles will retain access for the duration of the works, as will vehicles associated with the works.
