Tranent Library is reopening on Saturdays starting from this weekend.
The library, which is located at the George Johnstone Centre, was previously closed at weekends but will now be opening every Saturday from 10am-1pm for people to access library services.
The library announced on Facebook: “With the branch being situated in the heart of one of our largest towns, the team at the George Johnstone Centre are looking forward to welcoming people from the wider school cluster area back in on Saturday mornings!
“Please join us for lots of books and smiles at Tranent Library on Saturday, February 4!”
The library remains closed on a Sunday and is open midweek from 9am-5pm (closed from 1pm-2pm for lunch).
On Wednesdays the library opens at 10am.
