Haddington Library has asked for the public's help in finding their Christmas Crab who is hiding in the library.
A handsome reward of one chocolate sweetie is on offer for anyone who finds the crab who was last seen in the children's area of the library hanging some tinsel.
The library said: "The Haddington Library Christmas Crab is missing! He was last seen hanging tinsel in the children's area. The branch is offering a reward of one chocolate sweetie to whoever finds him.
"Please keep an eye out! His wife & 80,000 children are worried sick!"
