MORE East Lothian communities are switching on their Christmas lights.
Gifford’s switch-on is tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm. The tree is outside Yester Church. Gifford Community Woodland runs a Christmas decorations event in the Village Hall beforehand, 2-5.45pm.
Longniddry’s switch-on is also tomorrow. A torchlight parade begins at 6pm at the grass triangle by the village shops, walking to the community centre, where hot drinks will be available.
On the same day, a Christmas switch-on party takes place in Pencaitland from 5.30pm. Carols will be performed at the Trevelyan Hall.
Gullane’s lights are switched on on Saturday outside the Old Clubhouse on East Links Road from 4.40pm.
