Santa’s grotto, a maze, fairground rides, Christmas crafts and street food are among the star attractions at a new celebration of Christmas being held at the Balgone Estate, south of North Berwick.
Enchanted Balgone, organised by Enchanted Festivals, is launched on December 2 and will run over three weekends (Friday to Sunday) and in the week leading up to Christmas (Tuesday to Friday).
It features a number of activities for families to enjoy.
Balgone Estate will have activities on all days, including a maze trail, and will be transformed into a winter wonderland each evening from 4pm with a light trail around the lake all set to festive music.
Parents can also book a visit to Santa’s grotto in advance alongside their tickets.
The event will also feature a fairground including a Santa train and a frozen castle.
Masterclasses will be running all day, with children able to try biscuit decorating and bauble and Christmas card making, while adults can make wreaths or taste festive wine and cocktails.
An array of street food will also be available.
Daytime entry (10am-3pm) costs £10 for adults, £5 for children or a family entry (family of four) for £24.
All daytime tickets include access to the maze. Adults can purchase separate tickets to take part in wreath making at 2pm each day for £45.
Evening tickets (4-7.25pm) cost £15 for adults, £8 for children and a family ticket for £39. All evening tickets include access to the light trail.
Visitors will be able to donate to the group’s charity partner Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) when they purchase tickets or buy a ribbon to make a wish at the magical wishing tree which will be available on the day.
