AN MSP elected last year has opened his constituency office in Haddington.
Craig Hoy, a former councillor for the Haddington and Lammermuir ward on East Lothian Council, was elected as one of the seven list MSPs for the South Scotland region.
Mr Hoy shares the office on Haddington High Street with his Ayrshire-based Conservative colleagues Sharon Dowey and Brian Whittle as required by rules set by the Scottish Parliament.
The office is open 9.30am-2pm Monday to Thursday, and 9.30-11am on a Friday by appointments only.
The politician said: “I am delighted to open my constituency office on Haddington High Street. It is important for elected officials to be accessible to the people we represent and I am pleased to have my office right at the heart of East Lothian.”
