North Berwick Community Council (NBCC) members have welcomed the return of Community and Police Partnership (CAPP) meetings, not held since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The next meeting is on Wednesday at the GP room in North Berwick Community Centre at 7.30pm.
CAPP meetings provide members of the public the chance to raise their concerns in the local area and speak directly to local police officers.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for Natalie Dalziel, the new community police officer for North Berwick Coastal, to introduce herself to the public.
Community councillors were “thrilled” to see the meetings return.
An NBCC spokesperson said: “The town and surrounding area benefit significantly from these meetings so it is important that, post-Covid restrictions, these things are not left to fall by the wayside.”
