CARFRAE Farm, east of Gifford, opens its new farm shop tomorrow (Friday), 10am-3pm.
It will have a large selection of local and Scottish produce with “a dash of global, local and Scottish alcohol, cards and gifts and a fantastic range of zero-waste refill products”.
Trudi Cueto, managing partner of Carfrae Farm, said: “We’re really looking forward to getting the farm shop off the ground and hopefully we’ll get a good turnout for our opening weekend.
“I think the most important thing is getting feedback from those that come: we want to take what people say into consideration and make the shop as great as possible.
“It’s been a long process getting it set up and I’m just really relieved to finally be opening it up to the public.”
The farm shop has been created in a converted barn which had previously been used for storage.
It is described as a “beautiful open space with lots of nooks and crannies to browse”.
Carfrae Farm is located between Gifford and Garvald and includes self-catering cottages.
The shop opening hours will be Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-3pm.
