A SURVEY has found that residents believe more needs to be done to reduce speeding amid an increase in traffic in Haddington.
The survey, conducted by South Scotland MSP Craig Hoy, found that 94 per cent of respondents said they wanted some form of speed mitigation introduced.
A third of respondents said they wanted a crossing guide on Pencaitland Road.
Mr Hoy said: “I have heard from a number of residents who are worried about rising traffic and speeding on Pencaitland Road, West Road and residential streets like Clerkington Road.
"I am reaching out to East Lothian Council to get these issues resolved.”
