A 50-year-old man has been reported in connection with road traffic offences after a hit and run crash in Haddington narrowly missed hitting two workmen yesterday.
In a video circulating online, one car appears to run a red light at temporary traffic lights at the Hardgate junction and collides with a grey car, just missing a group of workmen dressed in reflective gear and hard hats.

The car then appears to speed off from the scene.
No one was injured in the collision and one man has been reported in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Courier: "Police were called around 1.05pm on Tuesday, 12 July, 2022 following a report of a two vehicle road crash on Haddington High Street.
"One vehicle failed to stop and the driver was later traced.
"There were no injuries.
"A 50-year-old man has been reported in connection with road traffic offences."
