MORE than £200 has been donated to a dog rescue charity in memory of a grandmother from Port Seton who was killed in a road accident in May.
Suzanne Farrell, 62, of Inglis Avenue, was hit by a silver Vauxhall Zafira on Marionville Road in Edinburgh at about 10.50pm on May 6 after a night out with friends.
She was taken to hospital but passed away the following day.
At a celebration of her life last week, £180 in cash was collected, while £40 was donated via bank transfers.
The £220.10 collected has been donated to Staffordshire Rescue Scotland.
