PLANTERS marking 60 years of a Haddington organisation are looking blooming good.
Rotary Haddington put four planters around the goat on the town’s High Street at the junction with Cross Lane.
Louise Begbie, secretary of Rotary Haddington, told the Courier: “The anniversary was last year but the plants went into place just a couple of weeks ago. They are planted up but we are still waiting on a plaque. We are getting that organised before it is officially opened.”
The plaque will highlight the Rotary club’s anniversary. Maintenance of the planters will be taken on by Blooming Haddington.
