A car boot sale and table sale will raise funds to provide life-saving defibrillators for use in medical emergencies in the Musselburgh area.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Musselburgh, the event will take place at the Fisherrow Centre car park on Sunday, June 12.

The club is busy with an ongoing campaign to site public access defibrillators outside local buildings.

These include Wilson’s Fresh Farm Produce on High Street; the Day-Today store in Wallyford; Inveresk Lodge Gardens; Musselburgh Baptist Church in New Street and, most recently, the Fisherrow Centre.

Money raised by the sale, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, will also support local charities.

Sellers can set up at 8am (£10 per car and £15 for vans.

Tables in the table sale cost £10. Refreshments will also be available.
