A HADDINGTON motorist has been banned from the roads after she was caught driving while over the drink-drive limit.
Jacqueline Quinn, of Clerkington Road, was pulled over by police officers in Edinburgh’s Corstorphine area and found to be more than three times the legal drink-drive limit.
Quinn pleaded guilty to driving with 67mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath at the Capital’s Glasgow Road on October 25 last year.
The legal drink-drive limit is 22mg.
Sheriff Matthew Auchincloss sentenced 25-year-old Quinn to pay a fine of £420 and banned her from driving for 12 months.
The sheriff also said that if Quinn successfully completed a drink-drive rehabilitation scheme, she would have her road ban reduced by three months.
