TEA and coffee have helped raise more than £400 to help people in war-stricken Ukraine.
The monthly community cafe in Stenton Village Hall was used to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
Moya Ramsay, chairperson of Stenton Community Association, thanked all those who attended or donated, with £440 raised.
She said: “We have a community cafe on the first Friday of every month and the proceeds go to the community association.
"This month, we decided that whatever we raised we would give to DEC.
"I put a wee note round our community chat and the money came in.
"For a wee place, it is very good.”
